Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between cleaning and detailing a car?
Generally anybody can clean a car pretty quickly with a light vacuum and wipe some surfaces down with a cleaner and towel. But detailing a car goes way beyond that, we clean the air vents, under your seats, between the seats, & all around every single little button and lever in the vehicle. We use many tools like compressed air, hot steam, extractors, drill brushes, high quality chemicals that are specific to vehicle detailing in order to not damage anything. As well as chemicals that can actually leave protection on your interior surfaces that can prevent fading and staining on leather and fabrics. A fully detailed vehicle will look its best possible condition and also get you its highest resale value upon a sale.

How often should I get my car detailed?
There are many variables that can lead to your answer. for instance, if you have children or even ride share customers in your car every day it may make sense to get your car every month. Or, if you only drive your car once a week to go get ice cream maybe once a year is good enough!  I recommend to all customers who regularly use their cars to get their car detailed at minimum 4 times a year to prevent from damages to their interior surfaces from stains and dirt accumulation. check our our monthly maintenance program if you would be interested in that!

Do I need to be present during my Detail?
As long as we have access to the vehicle and with proper room to work around the vehicle, we do not need you present for any reason. We take payment after completion and we can send you Venmo or take card after detailing is finished

Do I need to remove my things for my Detail?
Yes we would greatly appreciate it if you could remove all your valuables from the car. If you have any trash in the car we will happily throw away trash for you, but we do not want to have to try to decide what is trash, and what is not. Also, if your valuables are in the car it adds time to the detail that involves us moving your items around and opens risk to things possible breaking.  If your vehicle is full of your  important things we will add a $20 fee for the extra time to move them.

What brands do you use?
We use an array of top professional detailing chemicals from brands like detail.co, Carpro, Yumcars, Armour Detail Supply, Bio Bombs, Feynlab & DIYdetail.

Of course, if you are not happy with your detail, simply show us where we missed & what you are not happy with and we will address that issue right then and there and offer a small discount for the issue. If you drive the vehicle for a few days, then of course we will not know if it is something we missed, or something new that just happened. We will bring to your attention any damage on your vehicle before we begin, so that you do not think we caused it. In some cases, cleaning a car can showcase more clearly damaged paint imperfections and faded plastics, especially black paint and plastics on cars 15+ years old.

The only warranties we offer is for our Ceramic Coatings, which we will provide you the information for that after completion.

Questions About Additional Services

What is a Ceramic Coating and why would I want that?

Imagine your car having a super-smooth, super glossy finish that's incredibly easy to keep clean and protected from the everyday stuff that can and cloud and damage paint. That's essentially what a ceramic coating does. It's like a liquid glass shield that we apply to your car's exterior paint, glass and plastics.

Think about these benefits:

  • Effortless Cleaning: Because the surface becomes super slick, dirt, mud, and even bird droppings just slide right off. Washing your car becomes a breeze, and it stays cleaner for longer!

  • Protection from the Elements: It acts like sunscreen for your car, guarding the paint against harmful UV rays that can cause fading and dullness. It also protects against things like tree sap, bug splatter, and road grime.

  • Enhanced Appearance: Ceramic coatings add an incredible depth of shine and gloss to your car's paint, making it look richer, more vibrant, and like it just rolled off the showroom floor.

Can you fully remove odors from my vehicle?
While we strive for excellence, it's important to note that achieving 100% odor removal from a car is virtually impossible. Even the best detail shops worldwide encounter the same challenge. Our approach involves deep cleaning every surface, carpet, and seat followed by the use of an ionizer to filter out bacteria and odors from the air. We'll do our best to ensure your satisfaction!

What is a 'Paint Correction' and why would I want that?
Professional paint correction is the process of removing imperfections from a vehicle’s paint, such as swirl marks, scratches, and oxidation, using specialized tools and polishing compounds. It restores the paint to a near-new condition by smoothing out the surface and enhancing its gloss and depth. Customers often choose paint correction to improve the appearance of their vehicle and protect its resale value. It also serves as a foundation for applying coatings like ceramic or wax for long-lasting protection. Overall, paint correction gives a car a polished, flawless look that enhances its overall appeal.

Do you clean mold out of vehicles?
Unfortunately No, we do not have proper equipment for severe mold cleaning. Mold in cars is extremely dangerous and challenging to get out of a car 100% and doing so safely, although we can refer you to a specialist.  In severe mold cases, many things need to be replaced like carpeting, seats, headliner, almost all material that mold can live and grow in, so insurance is usually involved.

What if my vehicle is extremely dirty?
If your vehicle is extremely dirty and unkept for many years, it will require us to take a significant more amount of time and products to get your vehicle to the level of cleanliness we aspire to.  If it is bad enough we may refuse the job because it may be a safety risk or would just not be profitable enough with the amount of time required to do the job. Upon inspection we will add a surcharge ranging from $100-$500. If your car only has severe dog hair it will only be an additional $75 on top of package chosen.
